One more sleep 'til Paddy's day

St. Patrick's day is on the other side of tonights sunset and I'm very much looking forward to it. I came out of last weeks Old Firm game with mixed feelings. Obviously dissappointed that we lost but it was a cool occasion because that was my Dad's first Celtic game and he thoroughly enjoyed himself despite the result.

The amateur team I play for on Saturday mornings has its local derby game tomorrow morning. That will be followed swiftly by a shower and change of clothes and then onwards to the pub for a nice long boozy Saturday. That will be a novelty this year because since I've been living in Scotland St. Patrick's day has been a weekday and we don't get the public holiday that the lucky folk back home are blessed with.

In short, I tend to give it a right good lash although a bit of restraint will be required if I'm to see it through until the late hours.
